U. S. A. Army Frank Stamps – Set of three perforated as listed in Brazer (Rose, Blue & Brown). A special adhesive known to collectors of U.S. stamps, which was released in 1898 and purported to be an actual stamp created by the War Department. The label was really privately produced and was never valid for postage. The design, which comes in four colors, closely resembles that of the 10-cent 1869 and bears the legend "Official Business Only." Our Price $25.00

Canada #1250ii Infantry Regiments Upper Left Plate Block - This is Unitrade #1250ii, which is the 38 cent Infantry Regiments plate block, perf 13 issued September 8, 1989. Mint, Very Fine, Never Hinged. Unitrade explains that there is a significant shortage of inscription blocks resulting from technical difficulties at the printer. They also note that less than 50 full panes with imprint exist. Unitrade lists the plate block at $250.00. Our price is $99.99

Newfoundland C3iii Airmail Cover from St. Johns NFLD to North Sydney Nova Scotia Canada. C3iii - 1 1/2 mm space between "AIR" and "MAIL" with period variety, tied on cover by St. Johns No. 26 1921 mc, back stamped Halifax Feb 2, 1922, North Sydney Feb. 6, 1922 (possible TPO). Prime Minister's Office engraved Coat-of-Arms on back flap. Cover has vertical creases in center (probable file fold). Only 2224 issued. Stamp was issued at St. Johns G.P.O. for Pioneer Flight from Botwood, NFLD. to Halifax, NS, scheduled to take place on the 30th of November Mail was canceled as received. On November 26th, mail was sent to Botwood by rail. Major Stanley Cotton didn't take off until December 10th due to bad weather. Owing to a series of mishaps, the flight was abandoned on January 28, 1922. The mail was placed on a train and forwarded to Halifax by normal surface mail, reaching there on February 4, 1922. $250.00 SOLD

Back of envelope has CL-6, Jack V. Elliot semi-official stamp tied to envelope with Kenora (Red Lake) date stamp. $90.00

Canada Semi-Official Airmail cover #CL-11 from Rouyn, Quebec. First official (return) flight from Rouyn (Oct. 19, 1926) to Haileybury, Ontario (received CDS Oct. 20, 1926). Back of envelope has CL-11, Fairchild Air Mail Service semi-official stamp tied to envelope with Rouyn date stamp and violet handstamp with PILOT Signature "Glyn R. Burge". Only 517 covers were flown on the return flight. $90.00

Canada Semi-Official Airmail cover #CL-42 from Atlin, British Columbia to Carcross, Yukon bearing Yukon Airways & Exploration Co. Ltd. stamp and special adhesive strip. First official flight from White Horse to Carcross, Atlin and return. Back of envelope has Carcross receipt CDS. PILOT Signature "T. G. Stephens". $85.00

Canada Semi-Official Airmail cover #CL-46 from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan to Waskesiu Lake, Saskatchewan August 29, 1930. Short flight with only 296 covers flown. The Prince Albert CDS is inverted in the machine canceller (slogan is right side up). This Cherry Red Airline Limited stamp is cancelled with the Cherry Red Airline cachet in red and the stamp also has the listed variety of "SNOW ON THE WINGS" (Unitrade CL-46i). $75.00

Canada Semi-Official Airmail cover #CL-48 from Fort McMurray Alberta to Athabasca, Alberta February 23-24, 1931 on Unitrade #U28 Postal Stationery. First official flight where the Edmonton to Fort McMurray flight had been routed through Athabasca. This mail carried a special Commercial Airways Limited cachet (in blue) and the back of the envelope has the Commercial Airways Ltd. stamp and the Athabasca Feb. 23, 1931 receipt CDS. 969 pieces of mail carried on this leg of the flight. $60.00

Hingeless Album East Germany DDR 1970-76 KaBe Springback hingeless stamp album from 1970 to 1976 complete. This album is gently used, is in excellent shape, with the spine embossed with KaBe logo. It contains 77 pages for DDR including the pages for the souvenir sheets. These pages are the HINGELESS style page, with some descriptive text in English and German. Jamaican Patriotic Stamp League This is a selection of 4 different labels printed by the Jamaican Patriotic Stamp League. Beginning Dec. 1, 1915, these labels were sold for a half-penny each by the post offices of Jamaica on behalf of the Jamaica Patriotic Stamp League. Usage was voluntary, and funds were used to support the British Red Cross. $35.00

Canada SC#727 Plate #3 used single - This stamp is impossible to distinguish from other plates without the selvedge imprint and so only 4 stamps per sheet will have the marking to determine that it is Plate #3. How many do you think survived in USED format??? This issue used is unpriced by Unitrade because of the difficulty in identification. $75.00
